The wooden tall bike wasn't exactly a rideable bike, it was actually one of GCSE exam pieces.
I used basic woodwork tools and a CAD laser cutter for the frame and other parts. It's made from MDF, acrylic, and metal.
The design has a functional steer tube + headset, making the Tall Bike 3D. The handlebars and forks turn, and the front wheel can spin. The back wheel however is part of the frame, as I was pressed for time so could not include a spinning wheel on the back as well.
The cranksets also turn round after being bolted in, but there is no chain. The bike stands at around 35cm tall.
The bike cannot stand on its own, so I created a stand out of acrylic and wood. The bike can be taken out of the stand at any time.
